Expanding Horizons is a social-purpose business dedicated to preserving LGBTQ+ history, celebrating diverse identities, and creating meaningful opportunities for learning and connection.

Founded by Vince Tripi in 2024, Expanding Horizons creates and tours professionally designed traveling LGBTQ+ history exhibits for Pride organizations, libraries, colleges and universities, museums, community organizations, conferences, and other institutions. Exhibits explore subjects ranging from local LGBTQ+ history and the Stonewall era to LGBTQ+ experiences during the Holocaust, Indigenous approaches to gender and sexuality, and the history of the HIV/AIDS crisis.

In addition to traveling exhibits, Expanding Horizons offers guest lectures, keynote presentations, workshops, and educational consulting. Drawing on Vince's background in instructional design, higher education, community education, and LGBTQ+ history, its programs connect rigorous historical research with accessible, engaging learning experiences.

Expanding Horizons is rooted in the belief that history is not simply something to preserve—it is something we can use to better understand the present and imagine what comes next. By bringing LGBTQ+ history into the places where people learn, gather, and build community, Expanding Horizons helps audiences discover the people, movements, struggles, and achievements that have shaped LGBTQ+ life.
