Your day to day as a Treasury Management Business Development Officer
As a Treasury Management Business Development Officer, you will be at the forefront of driving growth for our treasury management services at Peoples State Bank. This pivotal role involves partnering closely with corporate clients to gain a deep understanding of their cash management needs and offering tailored solutions that enhance liquidity, minimize risk, and boost operational efficiency. You'll expand our treasury management portfolio by preparing engaging sales presentations and nurturing existing relationships, always ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority. By identifying market opportunities among businesses generating up to $50 million in revenue annually, you'll play a crucial role in attracting new clients.
Collaborating with internal teams, you'll deliver innovative solutions and actively participate in crafting strategies that achieve sales targets, all while enhancing our clients' overall experience. What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Treasury Management Business Development Officer at Peoples State Bank, you'll need a robust blend of skills and experience. A Bachelor's or associate degree in finance is essential, along with at least 5 years of prior sales experience, ideally within banking. Your strong sales and negotiation abilities will be crucial for building lasting relationships and closing deals.
Being innovative and detail-oriented will help you analyze financial data effectively and develop tailored solutions for our clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you'll interact frequently with clients and colleagues. A working knowledge of computers and software, along with the ability to learn new technology quickly, is vital.
You should display discretion, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions, be able to work independently, and also collaborate effectively in a team. A willingness to travel regularly is necessary for this dynamic role.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in finance and/or 5+ years prior sales experience in related field. Banking experience preferred.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Must be innovative, well organized, attentive to detail, and analytical.
- Ability to analyze financial data, assess client needs, and develop tailored solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and software with the ability to quickly learn new technology.
- Ability to work independently and execute objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work within a group setting.
- Must be willing to travel on a regular basis.
