HOURS: Monday through Friday between 7:45 - 5:15 PM and rotating Saturdays 8:45 - 12:15 PM

What it's like to be a Customer Service Representative 

As a full time, Customer Service Representative at Peoples State Bank, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering service excellence while conducting a variety of financial transactions for our valued customers. Your day will be filled with opportunities to shine, as you ensure that all collection and disbursement functions are handled with care and professionalism. You'll use your discretion, judgment, and initiative to efficiently address transaction inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and seize cross-selling opportunities that benefit our customers. By maintaining favorable customer relations and following bank procedures, you'll contribute to a positive banking experience, all while being part of a dynamic and fun team environment.

To thrive as a Customer Service Representative at Peoples State Bank, you'll need a solid foundation of essential skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is a must, but having experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales will give you an extra edge. Your strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling will ensure smooth transactions while your good computer skills will help you navigate our systems with ease. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital, as you'll be engaging with customers daily. Additionally, your ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in our fast-paced environment will keep things running smoothly and efficiently.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
