Day to day as a Senior Commercial Banker

As a Senior Commercial Banker at Peoples State Bank, you’ll take the lead in business development, loan origination, and underwriting, focusing on lower-middle and middle-market businesses. Your expertise will shine as you manage the entire loan process, from securing and closing loans to establishing new relationships with prospective clients and government agencies. This role is all about collaboration; you'll coach and coordinate with fellow commercial bankers to ensure they exceed customer expectations while effectively cross-selling our suite of banking services. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, paired with 15-20+ years of commercial banking, lending, and credit experience. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor's degree in the field or business or related field.
• 15-20+ years of commercial banking/lending and professional credit experience. Management experience is not required, but considered a plus. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and assist at other locations as requested.
• Analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and applications utilized to process transactions and maintain CRM.
