LOCATION: Green Bay

STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 7:00 am -5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.

STARTING PAY RANGE: $58,916 - $63,499 per year

*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The primary responsibility of the role is to assist students & the community as they explore careers, develop their career and higher education path, and promote NWTC as a college of choice. The position will develop 1:1 relationship with influencers throughout the community and become the primary point of contact by assisting and guiding prospective students throughout the admission process to ensure students successfully transition to post-secondary education.


(NWTC will not provide any commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based in any part, directly or indirectly, upon success in securing enrollments or awarding of federal financial aid, to any person or entity engaged in any student recruitment or admissions activity or in making decisions regarding the award of Title IV funds.) 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Use career planning, recruitment, and relationship building approaches to explore career and educational goals with prospective students.  Increase college and career readiness and match students with appropriate NWTC programs or transfer opportunities.
  • Establish 1:1 relationship by being the primary point of contact for prospective and inquiring students from K12 to returning adults - for the entire admission process through new student orientation. Support assigned outreach territories and programs, including area K12 districts, community organizations, and/or divisional programs.
  • Act as the ‘face’ of NWTC by speaking publicly at events and lead individual and group tours to promote NWTC to prospective students, families, and community members.
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate recruitment events and activities for future learners in various targeted markets such as high schools, middle schools, parents, counselors, educators, and adults, to generate FTE growth.
  • Use data to implement strategic follow up communication plans with students from point of entry through enrollment and measure quarterly FTE conversion rates.
  • Contribute to a strategic recruitment plan and develop new innovative activities to support growth within the K12 to returning adult population.
  • Assess the student's stage of development (academic, career, financial, and personal) and promote student growth by determining suitable developmental tasks; assist student’s in establishing realistic and attainable academic and career goals. 

Advise students with the admission process through new student orientation, discuss dual credit opportunities, transfer of credit, credit for prior learning, and program pre-requisites, to ensure timely transition into their program. Provide preliminary transcript evaluations and investigate course equivalency for prospective students.

  • Utilize CRM system to maintain record of customer interactions recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken
  • Collaborate in cross-functional college teams (i.e., Marketing, Early College, Advisories, Learning Departments, etc.) to execute various recruitment and enrollment focused initiatives.
  • NEW**Provide weekly campus tours for prospective students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or related field.
  • Two years related work experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, and database management system used in college admissions, recruiting, and enrollment services

**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CRM experience preferred
