LOCATION: Green Bay
STANDARD HOURS: Tuesday - Thursday 12:30pm - 4:30pm and Friday 12:00pm - 4:00pm
PAY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.81 per hour
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a frontline position providing customer service to telephone and walk-in students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and community members. This position allows our office hours to extend into the evening (4:30pm) and provide customer service and office assistant support. Daily activities in addition to the above include processing of confidential student information, maintenance of department policies, ordering of office supplies, and mail pick-ups and delivery within Green Bay campus TET locations. Office assistant functions include updating mailing databases, Workday reports, typing, scanning, preparing materials, helping with TET events, as well as back-up support for full-time administrative program support staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Provide quality customer service to all via telephone and in-person
- Clerical duties involving MS Office, reports, and general related duties
- Mail processing and delivery; bulk mail processing
- Maintain inventory of promotional materials, office supplies, historical records
- Assist faculty, lock/unlock rooms, troubleshoot room schedule issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Technical diploma
- One year of customer service, office administrative or receptionist experience; proven customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn basic Workday database functions.
- Ability to operate computer, calculator, copier, scanner, multi-line telephone, etc.
