STANDARD HOURS:  8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 3 days a week; schedule to be determined at time of hire

PAY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY 

Candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a busy open office atmosphere. Staff will report directly to the Regional Center Manger and will also be responsible for completing assigned projects. Multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize projects will be critical to the candidate’s position.

Essential Functions Statement(s)    

Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:    

    Respond to student and community inquiries in person or via phone.

    Process student registrations for course enrollment using PeopleSoft.

    Schedule student advisor and testing appointments.

    Assist students with book sales; buy back process and completion of forms.

    Handle cash transactions as well as post payments to student accounts in PeopleSoft.

    Prepare room set-up and supplies for classes; replenish brochure racks.

    Distribute marketing materials to local businesses via mail or in person.

    Available to work evening or Saturday hours to provide adequate office coverage.

    Provide administrative support (copying, contacting students, filing, proctor tests)

    Ability to multitask and complete other duties and projects as assigned.

    Prepare, process, and maintain new and existing student and course information with regards to the Nursing Assistant Program.

    Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:   Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant degree

Experience:  Two years of work experience in an office/college setting.

Computer Skills: 

Microsoft Office: Word, Access, Publisher and Excel applications. PeopleSoft experience a plus.


Other Requirements: 

Candidates must possess exceptional phone and face to face costumer service skills and have the ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines. Customer service must be completed tactfully with respect to all confidential material. Previous cashiering and teller experience a plus.


Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Districts standard insurance policy terms

    Provide assistance running to the bank, picking up office supplies, and visits to other centers.
