NATURE AND SCOPE
Our Landmark Summer Internship Program offers a unique, hands-on experience designed to help you build valuable skills in key corporate areas that align with your field of study. Our paid, full-time internship program is located at our Brookfield Headquarters building and runs for 12 weeks, from June 2 - August 11, 2025. During this time, interns will have the opportunity to participate in professional development activities, network with peers, and engage with senior leaders. Through this experience, you’ll explore potential career paths, expand your knowledge of Financial Institutions, and strengthen your professional skills that will prepare you for future success in a dynamic, People First culture.

As a Marketing Intern, you will work with the Marketing team and gain hands on experience by:
• Working as a part of the Community and Events team and build experience in project and event management, as well as community and volunteer engagement.
• Working closely with social media stakeholders in capturing, ideating and writing content focused on our summer community efforts.
• Helping to create and plan marketing strategies and campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates entering their senior year.
2. Active participation in extracurricular activities, student organizations, or community service.
3. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
5. Ability to meet deadlines while working independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
7. Demonstrated interest in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
8. Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 12-week program.
9. Must be able to comfortably lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
10. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Learn the corporate culture, financial industry, and the needs of our members to support marketing efforts effectively.
2. Assist our Community and Events team in prepping for and coordinating needs for events, including securing and transporting materials, organizing giveaways, and mascot support.
3. Provide onsite support of events, representing Landmark and engaging with community members and gathering competitive insights.
4. Collaborate with Social team prior to community and volunteer events to plan and ideate the capture and execution of content related to the event.
5. Work with the social team after events to provide content for posts.
6. Support the creation and distribution of event-based marketing materials and social media content aligned with brand objectives.
7. Attend community and company events to capture photos and videos for real-time social media content (may include evening and weekend hours).
8. Assist with posting and scheduling event-based content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn using tools such as Hootsuite.
9. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas to improve event presence and engagement as well as engaging social media content.
10. Contribute to event follow-up activities, including surveys, reporting, and recaps.
11. Participate in team meetings and share creative ideas for campaigns and events.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
