Valley Transit is actively seeking customer-focused and detail-oriented individuals interested in a public transportation career. Maintenance Supervisors supervision of all fleet maintenance activities and eight maintenance department employees. This position supervises and coordinates fleet and facility maintenance. 

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a courteous, professional, and responsible manner.
• Experience/ knowledge of operation principles, repair practices of large diesel engines and of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3-5 years of public transportation supervisory and administration experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/FTA regulations and safety.

The salary range for this position is $62,712.00 - $94,078.40 annually, plus an excellent fringe benefit package including medical/dental, paid leave, and enrollment into the Wisconsin Retirement System. Starting rate is dependent on the level of experience.

This position requires the ability to deal effectively with the public, an excellent driving record, and the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License Class B with passenger endorsement. This position primarily works Monday – Friday. May infrequently be required to work other hours
