The Appleton Public Library, the Wisconsin Library of the Year for 2025, is seeking a Library Assistant - Community Partnerships (Sub) to join our dynamic team.

The Library Assistant - Community Partnerships (Sub) is a substitute, non-benefited, non-exempt library assistant position in the Community Partnerships section of the library. Regular weekend and evening availability is required. Work involves providing general informational help, reference, readers' advisory, technology assistance to patrons at the adult public service desks, and support of public programming for teens and adults. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Community Partnerships Supervisor.

Hours

This position will work an average of 15 hours per week including evenings and rotating weekends.

Qualifications 

This position requires a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or a combination of applicable education, experience and training. 

Salary

The hiring salary range for this position is $24.07 to $28.88 hourly.
