The City of Appleton is currently accepting applications for vacancies in the Operations Division of Public Works. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Municipal Services and Water Inventory areas located at the Police Department, Fire Department, Reid Golf Course, Parks and Recreation Department, and Municipal Service Building. Work includes receiving, issuing, labeling, shelving, and delivery of goods and materials. This position is also responsible for performing various parts runs and accurately maintaining the stockroom, warehouse, and stockade quantities in good order. The variety of work differs among positions, but employees in this class are generally responsible for finality of action. Work in the class is performed under the general supervision of the Office Manager and is reviewed in a general manner based on results obtained.


Qualifications 

Requires some experience in inventory management, warehousing, mechanical maintenance, construction, computer software, record keeping and training beyond high school level in stock and inventory control or related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training.


Salary

The hiring salary range for this position is $25.00 - $26.60 hourly, with the ability to earn up to $30.03 plus an excellent fringe benefit package.
