This is a technical staff position responsible for providing first-line Information Technology support. Work involves the interaction with multiple department users to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technology issues. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Information Technology.

Qualifications 

This position requires an Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, one to two years' experience in troubleshooting/analyzing computer problems, or a combination of applicable experience and training.

Salary

The starting salary for this position is $24.07 hourly with the ability to earn up to $33.70 hourly, plus an excellent fringe benefit package including paid time off, health, life, dental, and Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is among the best funded and best managed public pension systems in the country. Employees, spouses, and dependents over the age of 12 months who are covered on the City’s medical plan are eligible to use the Connecting Care Clinic (CCC). The CCC provides primary and acute care services and physical therapy at no cost to the patient.
