Overview

Northwood Technical College is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a full-time Graphic Arts & Multimedia Content Specialist at any of our four campus locations. (Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake, or Superior)

 

The Graphic Arts and Multimedia Content Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of visual materials to support the College brand and marketing and communication strategies and goals through visual storytelling.

  • Plan, design and produce major publications such as catalog, viewbook and student handbook, brochures, etc.

  • Capture and edit engaging multimedia content such as photos, videos and audio for use across platforms including print, web, social media and streaming.
  • Proactively pitch and create content tailored for various social media platforms. Stay informed about the College programs, services and events to identify promotional opportunities. Contribute to a creative, collaborative and deadline-driven team environment.
  • Create decals and graphics for vehicles and trailers in collaboration with vendors.
  • Represent the College positively in internal and external relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Degree & Experience Required:

  • Associate’s degree in related field
  • Three years related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to effectively apply technology to tasks and projects
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment while maintaining positivity and professionalism
  • Strong customer service skills and a focus on creative problem solving
  • Time management skills that apply organization and prioritization demonstrating the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Proficient in the use of graphic design and Adobe software packages; Photoshop; InDesign; Illustrator; Premiere; Bridge, etc.
  • Familiarity with printing techniques including four-color, RGB and PMS
  • Experience with publications project management
  • Knowledge of advertising and marketing principles and techniques
  • Ability to be detail-oriented
  • Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy

Salary

FY26 Salary - Grade I - $23.79 / hour
