Engineering Technician 

This position involves highly skilled, advanced technical field and office work within the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works. Work responsibilities include construction survey, GIS mapping/record keeping and construction inspection of Public Works projects such as sewer and water installation/repair, sidewalk installation/repair, street construction and pond construction.

Qualifications

An associate degree in engineering, or a related field, at least 4 years of experience in survey, inspection, and GIS mapping/record keeping; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $25.96 – $36.34, plus an excellent fringe benefit package including paid time off, health, life, dental, and Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is among the best funded and best managed public pension systems in the country.
