Director of Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Family Service Madison, Inc. seeks a full-time Director of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to lead our Employee Assistance Program. Responsibilities include providing confidential, short-term, solution-focused counseling services to employees and their family members for a wide range of personal and work-related concerns, as well as providing clinical leadership, consultation, and oversight for the EAP program. Services include assessment, brief intervention, crisis support, consultation, and referral to community resources or longer-term treatment when clinically appropriate. The EAP Director will provide services to a diverse population of adults and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based, goal-oriented interventions designed to help clients address immediate concerns and improve overall well-being. The Director will also provide clinical support and supervision to EAP staff, contribute to program development and quality improvement, and support relationships with EAP clients, employers, and community partners. Administrative responsibilities include oversight of program operations, coordination of EAP services, documentation and reporting, and collaboration with organizational leadership to support the ongoing development and effectiveness of the program. A foundation in trauma-informed care and experience providing counseling services to first responders and other public safety professionals is preferred.
Qualifications: Wisconsin licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist is required. This position requires full, independent licensure; applicants holding training licenses or working toward independent licensure are not eligible for this position.
Experience providing brief, solution-focused therapy, crisis assessment, and referral services is preferred. Experience providing clinical supervision, consultation, or program leadership is preferred. Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) experience preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus. Eligible candidates must pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check and criminal history screening.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is a primarily in-person position, with some flexibility to provide telehealth services. Flexible scheduling, including some evening hours, is available.
Wage: Based on experience. Benefit package available. Sick time, vacation time, and paid holidays.
