WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A COMMERCIAL BANKER

To excel as a Commercial Banker at Peoples State Bank, you will need a solid foundation in banking and/or commercial credit, with 1-5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, enhancing your analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, as you'll be building strong relationships with clients and teammates. Your capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment will be crucial, along with a willingness to assist at different locations as needed.

Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and database software will aid in effective portfolio management. Familiarity with the local financial marketplace will provide you with valuable insights, helping you tailor services to meet customer needs and support their growth. Your organizational skills and adaptability will set you apart in this dynamic role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor's degree from in the field of business or related field preferred.
• 1-5 years of banking/commercial credit experience.
• Prior sales experience in financial services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and assist at other locations as requested.
• Analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software programs.
