Broadband Engagement Coordinator, LTE (part-time/975 hours/year) @ Any Northwood Tech Campus Location

Northwood Technical College is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a part-time/LTE Broadband Engagement Coordinator at any of our four campus locations. (Ashland, New Richmond, Rice Lake or Superior).

 

This is a limited-term position funded by a grant through November 30, 2026. *The role may be carried out on site or fully remotely; work location will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate. 

 

This position will assist instructors and program managers in oversight, future development, and outreach. This externally facing position will work directly with other WTCS Colleges and employers to promote the program, assist students and employers with the registration process, and connect students to campus support.  This program will report to the Associate Dean, Workforce and Community Development.

  • Serve as a liaison between Northwood Tech, WTCS Colleges, Broadband Industry Employers, Workforce Resource and students enrolled in Broadband Academy courses.
  • Program marketing and outreach
  • Assist students in the registration process
  • Student, employer, and partnership relationship development
  • Work with WTCS Colleges to enroll students in the program
  • Assist in course scheduling
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Degree & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Two years related work experience
  • One year Leadership experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment while maintaining accountability and motivation in self and others
  • Strong customer service skills that focus on diversity, community, and continuous quality improvement
  • Problem-solving skills that employ critical thinking
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to effectively apply technology to tasks and projects
  • Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy

Preferred:

  • Broadband/Telecommunications Industry experience
  • Experience with student success initiatives
  • Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System
  • Experience in external partnership development
  • Knowledge of online learning environment

Salary

FY26 Salary - Grade K - $29.65 / hour
