L.E.A.D. Series: Neurodivergency in the Workplace

L.E.A.D. Series: Neurodivergency in the Workplace

Wednesday, July 9, 2025 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

As awareness of neurodiversity continues to grow, workplaces are increasingly recognizing the value of inclusive environments that support a range of cognitive and neurological differences. Exploring Neurodiversity in the Workplace will highlight the importance and prevalence of the need for accommodations to ensure all employees—regardless of neurotype—can thrive.

This presentation will delve into the current landscape of neurodiversity in employment, exploring both the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and the benefits of inclusive practices for organizations. Participants will gain practical insight into effective accommodations and supports across three key domains: environmental (e.g., sensory-friendly workspaces, flexible work arrangements), social (e.g., inclusive communication, mentorship), and administrative(e.g., clear task expectations, structured routines).

Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how small, intentional changes can create more equitable and productive workplaces, supporting both individual well-being and organizational success.
