About

Unitarian Church North provides the light of religious freedom in the warmth of a caring community. At Unitarian Church North we believe we don't have to think alike to love alike. As a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA.org), we are a non-creedal religious denomination -- we don't ask members to subscribe to specific theological beliefs. Instead, we encourage members to keep an open mind about religious questions. We consider the wisdom of the world's great religious and ethical teachings as well as our own direct experience and conscience. Our congregation includes people of many faith perspectives, including agnostics and humanists, who join together on their religious journeys and work to fulfill our mission to: create a diverse and inclusive community; promote free religious expression; inspire spiritual and ethical growth; and work for justice in our world. The architecture of Unitarian Church North replicates the octagonal Clausing barns built in Ozaukee County in the 1800s. The church maintains a natural landscape planted with tall grasses, prairies flowers and other native plants.
