We are an independent clinic grounded in inclusivity and health care justice. We offer comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, genders, sexualities, neurotypes, sizes, and abilities. That can include gender-affirming hormone therapy for adults who desire it, sexual and reproductive health care, or outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder treatment. We welcome autistic and neurodivergent patients, as well as patients seeking a weight-neutral approach to their medical care. Presence was founded by Dr. Anna Mirer so she could give her patients the care they deserve and practice medicine that makes sense. Our alternative business model, called Direct Primary Care, means you don't need insurance to be seen. Patients pay an affordable monthly fee that covers as many office visits, video visits, phone calls, or basic office procedures as needed for good care. We intentionally keep the practice small, cause we know you're sick of the bureaucracy that comes with large health care organizations, and so are we. Patients can contact their doctor directly by phone or text--no more fighting through an army of operators to ask a simple question. When you get sick, we can typically get you in for a same- or next-business-day appointments. We are a community for anyone who has felt like an afterthought in health care.
