Founded in 1971 as a non-stock, not for profit CDFI lender servicing the 7 county region providing business loans to include underserved neighborhoods and minority populations. Typically provides financing along side of a bank, but can be the sole lender. Lending to include owner occupied real estate acquisition, rehab, and construction; equipment purchases; inventory; leasehold improvements; and working capital.
