The Family Mediation Center is a positive alternative to help LBGT couples navigate their separation and/or divorce in a cooperative low-cost process. Given the legal uncertainties of family law regarding same-sex divorce, domestic partnerships and cohabitation, working together to create an agreement in mediation is a far better alternative than turning to the courts.
