For many, March means basketball—but for bird lovers, it’s all about migration! As spring arrives, so do many bird species returning to Wisconsin. To celebrate, Schlitz Audubon hosts Migration Madness, a fun, bracket-style competition where you can vote for your favorite birds. Help kickoff our second annual Migration Madness tournament at Bird Club! Come celebrate, test your knowledge at bird trivia, fill out your bracket, and learn about this year’s contenders. Join a welcoming community of bird enthusiasts on the second Wednesday of the month. New and experienced birders will meet to learn together, discuss bird-related issues, and hike to discover birds on our trails. Our co-hosts are Environmental Educator Laine Cotteleer and Dan Panetti, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Mequon. Anyone aged 14 and older who is interested in learning more about birds regardless of prior experience is welcome. You will learn and enhance identification skills from experienced birders. Free to all. Optional donation supports habitat preservation at the Center. Registration required.
