April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors and reflect on what safety and healing can look like in our communities. In April, we invite Hmong SEA LGBTQ+ folx and allies to join us for a meaningful evening centered on sexual wellness for Hmong SEA QT folx. Together, we’ll create personalized sexual wellness kits using resources from HAWA’s wellness closet, and hold space for community conversation on what support and resources are needed for Hmong SEA QT people to feel safe, affirmed, and empowered. While we recognize the realities of sexual violence, this space will focus on imagining and building toward safety, care, and healthy, affirming relationships. As always, QRS is a space for Hmong LGBTQ+ adults (18+) and allies to connect and build queer siblinghood.
