The Madison Symphony Orchestra and Conductor John DeMain embark on a new season with Holst’s The Planets, accompanied by a spectacular, new high-definition film projecting celestial images above the Overture stage. The concert opens with George Enescu’s folk-style Romanian Rhapsody No. 1, followed by violinist Naha Greenholtz performing in John Corigliano’s haunting Chaconne, from his Academy Award-winning score for The Red Violin film.
