Spring Festival of Cultures

The festival begins with the Cultural Market on April 11, 12-1pm will feature 20 booths representing such cultures/countries as Turkey, Alaska, Mexico and Ghana. There will be tons of food and fun (and free henna)! At the Quiz Bowl on April 12, 12-1pm 20 teams will test their cultural knowledge in categories such as sports, medicine and food. The Cultural Showcase on April 13, 12-1pm will feature over a dozen people modeling culture attire, several more pieces of display and 5 unique performances (dance, vocal and musical). The market and the showcase feature several community groups: Milwaukee Muslim Women's Coalition, Oneida and Menominee Nation, Arab and Muslim Women's Research and Resource Institute and Turkish American Society of Wisconsin.
