Join us for our virtual meeting of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber's Real Estate Council on November 11 at 1:00 p.m. CT. Our presentation during this meeting is called "Current Multifamily Trends in the Midwest Post-COVID."
Our presenter is Andy Hunt. Andy Hunt serves as the Director of the Center for Real Estate at Marquette University where he works with students and faculty to administer valuable real estate programming for students. He also works to maintain a 100% placement rate for graduates, grow partnerships with local and national industry organizations, and coordinate the ACRE Program – a curriculum aimed at diversifying talent in the real estate industry.
Before his role as Director of the Center for Real Estate, Andy worked in industrial asset acquisitions across the U.S., global industrial investment management, and as a broker for the company we now know as Cushman & Wakefield.
Andy is joined by his colleague Vito Taphorn.
Vito Taphorn is the Director of the Real Estate Asset Program at Marquette, which is the first undergraduate student-led real estate investment program in the nation. Vito advises students in evaluating investment options, presenting opportunities to a group of outside professionals investing in real estate transactions, analyzing due diligence materials, building business plans for assets, and overseeing ongoing asset management reporting. Vito also helps cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners that lead to a consistent pipeline of real estate investment opportunities for analysis by the REAP students.
Prior to joining Marquette as the Director of REAP, Vito spent 20+ years in various roles in commercial real estate finance, most recently as Managing Director at CIBC US, where he originated commercial real estate loan activity, managed customer relationships, and actively monitored quarterly credit quality.
All Members are welcome at this event.
