Out at the Symphony is an opportunity to connect with the MSO and members and friends of Madison's LGBTQ community in a fantastic night of great classical music with an exclusive party at one of downtown Madison's hottest venues. Pianist Stephen Hough returns to the Overture stage for a memorable performance of Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 (The Egyptian). Conductor John DeMain and the Madison Symphony Orchestra open the program with Samuel Barber’s dramatic Second Essay, and close with Tchaikovsky’s final major work, the passionately biographical Symphony No. 6. After the final bow, take a short walk to a nearby venue for an exclusive party. Enjoy conviviality, elegant hors d'oeuvres and conversation while sipping cocktails and mingling with members and friends of the LGBTQ community.
