The U.S. Department of Labor Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN), in partnership with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a free webinar for Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Members to highlight strategies to diversify the workforce to more fully include individuals with disabilities.
This session will begin with an overview of the Inclusion @ Work model, seven proven business strategies from leading disability inclusion practitioners and employers that provided a detailed framework for building a disability-inclusive organization.
Next, the trainer will cover outreach and recruitment and talent acquisition and retention processes to improve disability inclusion. Specifically, policies and processes across the employment lifecycle will be identified that facilitate or impede the hiring, retention and advancement of individuals with disabilities.
