Join the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce for our Milwaukee "Food for Thought" featuring Milwaukee Police Department's LGBTQ Police Liaisons - Captain Heather Wurth and District One PO Josh Post. The objective of “Food for Thought” is to provide Chamber members an opportunity to have lunch and a discussion in a small group with a key community or business leader and hear their story. 

Captain Heather Wurth has been a member of the Milwaukee Police Department since 1992, assigned to patrol duties in District Three after graduation from the police academy. She has worked in a variety of assignments including patrol and supervisory responsibilities in the Vice Control Division, Warrant Squad, District Four, District Five, District Seven, Internal Affairs, District Two, Office of the Chief, and is currently assigned to District Four. Captain Wurth advocates achieving trust and legitimacy, strengthening police and community partnerships and making District Four a safe place for the community it serves and protects.
