Event Description:
Experience the talents of brilliant French pianist Philippe Bianconi as he joins the Madison Symphony Orchestra and Conductor John DeMain as soloist in Rachmaninoff’s massive and virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3. The program opens with Schumann’s dramatic and imaginative Manfred Overture, followed by Witold Lutoslawski’s 1954 Concerto for Orchestra, inspired by Polish folk songs.
