DESCRIPTION:Pride Pathways: Suicide Prevention for LGBTQ+ Communities and Allies is a 90-minute presentation designed to deepen understanding of how suicide impacts the LGBTQ+ community. This program is intended for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies interested in fostering supportive\, inclusive\, and affirming environments that promote LGBTQ+ mental health.\n\nParticipants will be able to:\n• Describe how suicide affects the LGBTQ+ community\n• Recognize suicide risk factors\, protective factors\, and warning signs\n• Identify how to create protective environments for LGBTQ+ communities at home\, school\, and work\n• Start a conversation with someone they’re concerned about\n• Identify LGBTQ+ suicide prevention resources\n\nSnacks and refreshments will be provided.
